Thank you for posting this wonderful video. I'm presently time lapse filming the demolition of the Maywood Park Race track. In addition, I will also be time lapse filming the re-construction of the new industrial park that will be built on the property.

Auckland reactor was a great horse but he was not the best "down under" at that time & probably the best miler was Smokin' Up and the overall best horse was "Blacksafake"

He really was something special.

Such an amazing animal and a great ambassador for the sport. Still very much missed a decade later...

So you have a 1-2 fav shipping in from the Medowlands - who takes the lead - and shortly thereafter - a 10-1 shot brushes by and takes off. Not suprising at all the tractor makes its appearance and nullifies this botched race fixing. It's called insurance...

I used to go to Maywood this race announcer is rotten.

hope tractor driver was fired. my son had the #8 50 to 1 odds winner. money refunded. had both parts of daily double. got his bet money refunded.
